214 (b)

2018

*Section 214(b) of the United States Immigration and Nationality Act is the document issued when a non-immigrant visa application is denied.

Being denied of something you dream of can lead to feelings of anger, rejection, sadness, hostility, and even depression.

On the other hand, going through these emotions can lead to a greater appreciation of that thing you dreamt of in the first place.

After initially being denied to study in the United States in 2015, 214(b) is my on-going project about making the most of my freedom and opportunities, pursuing my passion to discover and experience in every detail, perfect and imperfect, the things I would not see, do, or feel if I didn’t go to the United States.
